St. Lucia's Day

13th December is the celebration of St. Lucia in Sweden. A girl form each family is supposed to wake up at the crack of dawn, adorn her hair with candles, wear a white dress with a red sash and sing to awaken her family.

I of course, did not make it for the 6:45am live telecast on TV this morning. But I went to the university on Thursday morning at 7am for our school's St Lucia celebration.
(Sorry for the bad picture quality. I was very far away from the stage.)

The choir sang beautifully and there was free gingerbread cookies and a special Christmas drink called Glogg.
